Barry Lee Hohlstein, a proud Michigan native, was born and raised in Flint. From an early age, he displayed a deep sense of duty and commitment, which led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps immediately after high school. Throughout his service, he took on multiple roles, including administrative duties and serving as a dedicated member of the Marine Corps funeral team.
During his time in the military, Barry met his wife, and together they have built a loving family, raising three wonderful children—two sons and a daughter—whom they cherish. Family is at the heart of Barry’s life, and he prioritizes spending meaningful time with his wife and kids.
Beyond his devotion to family, Barry has a range of personal interests. An avid fan of video games and anime, he enjoys unwinding through these hobbies. He also has a passion for cooking, particularly BBQ, and his skills in the kitchen have not gone unnoticed—while stationed in New Orleans, Louisiana, he won an award for his exceptional BBQ, further igniting his love for the craft.
Barry’s life is a testament to his strong work ethic, dedication to family, and unwavering commitment to service, which he continues as a member of Soldiers of Real Estate LLC.
